Facilities

McGrath Newcastle (operating as McGrath Regional Logistic Group) is based in the Newcastle Port Precinct in Elizabeth Street, Carrington.

One of our key responsibilities as your partner in transport logistics and warehousing is to protect your valuable cargo and expensive equipment. McGrath Newcastle has invested in state-of-the-art container straddle lifters, side loaders and facilities to achieve efficient, accurate and safe handling of your goods.

We have a large range of forklifts, from a versatile 2.5 ton all the way up to a large load bearing 12 ton. We also have container spec forklift trucks with low closed-mast-heights that still incorporate full-free-lift that allow fast and precise unpacking of full container loads. Our container straddle lifter has the capacity to lift containers on and off our trucks in minutes which greatly reduces unloading times and provides a cost and time efficiency for our clients.

Unlike a regular transport operator who simply moves your goods from one location to another, our custom built warehouse and versatile array of forklifts and lifters ensure that we can provide a full logistics solution.
